MISSION
The Mission of the Life Promises Charity Foundation (a non-profit organization) is to help build and transform lives through better health, supporting education, alleviating poverty, and creating OPPORTUNITIES. Our goal is a strong campaign against drug abuse, addiction, crime and violence. Then our team of collaborators and volunteers at Life Promises Charity develop the lives of children through sports, music, arts, science, and social studies. We differentiate ourselves from other non-profit organizations in our ongoing reach to achieve our Vision and Mission to Heal, Educate, Build and Transform every life. It is our dream to lead a new era of development, growth, goodwill and productivity in the Society for current and future generations.
ABOUT US
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for charitable causes benefiting the children of America; providing the necessary tools so that each of them can have a life with a sense of social well-being and a better future. Through sustainable programs and events, the foundation works to raise awareness, heal, build, and educate with the goal of transforming a child's life. We help to install the values necessary to achieve success: diligence, endurance, honesty, duty, loyalty, education and most importantly: HOPE.

History
It started operations in 2007 under a solidarity project of self-financing and sponsored by private companies. Throughout this time, it has made possible the visit of delegations from other countries to share with young Costa Ricans and Central Americans. It has allowed the creation of entropic relationships and positive friendship between the “Ambassadors of Good Promises” and the beneficiary population of the academic-sports collaboration. Thanks to these exchanges, young people with limited resources and at risk have been able to travel to the United States of America to study with a sports scholarship. It is an initiative, based on the life experience of its Founder: Mr. Daniel Simmons. His commitment to studying and practicing a sport, made him arise and face adverse situations that could compromise his well-being and that of his family. At 14 years of age, Mr. Daniel Simmons obtained a sports scholarship in the United States of America, an event that led to a paradigm shift and the possibility of helping thousands of young people at risk and vulnerability throughout the Region
